ESMOD is a private school recognized by the Ministry of Culture and Communication, training in fashion trades. Formerly known as Lavigne War, it was founded in 1841 by Alexis Lavigne, making it the oldest fashion school in the world.

The ESMOD group provides in three or five years a teaching in styling and modeling approved by the French State at level I & II, but also a teaching in Fashion Business in ISEM schools (with diplomas also recognized by the State level I & II).

​

 

The ESMOD network currently has five schools in France in Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, Rennes and Roubaix and in all 20 schools around the world and in the following cities: Beijing, Guangzhou, Beirut, Istanbul, Damascus, Dubai, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Moscow, Kyoto, Tokyo, Oslo, Seoul, Sousse and Tunis).

Around a common educational program, each school develops partnerships with regional institutions to guarantee students a unique creative experience and adapted internship opportunities. Competitions, exhibitions, workshops, shows ... are all ways to share our expertise with all fashion enthusiasts!
